泽国风情 – Scenic Tour of Zhou Zhuang
Known as “Venice of the East”, ZhouZhuang – 周庄, is one of the most famous water townships in China. With a history of more than 900 years, this town still keeps the ancient water township’s style and pattern in various ways.
ZhouZhuang is surrounded by rivers, lakes and canals, thus stone bridges are seen everywhere in the town. The bridges, canals and boats make a distinctive view for this ancient water town.
Besides the spectacular view of “Little bridge, Running Stream, People” – “小桥。流水。人家”, there are various historical places to visit, such as Water Tomb of Shen WanSan, Shen House, Zhang House, Ancient Theater of ZhouZhuang…etc, and of course, traditional food in ZhouZhuang is worthy of a try too.
