Poster of the Week – Forbidden Temple @ Ipoh

Again, it’s time to post a poster of the week. 🙂 I chose the subject of this week to be Forbidden Temple. As you noticed, the high contrast and details displayed in the photo were created by techniques generally refer to HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging). Together with the HDR version of the photo, I’ve attached the SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) or known as Normal exposure photo for comparison.

For the technique, I’ve followed this post by Mark Flemming. Notice that the author put the post title as Pseudo-HDR and not HDR, the reason might be the usage of 1 file and adjust different luminance settings instead of  using multiple photos with different EV settings and combining them in HDR creation application such as Photoshop or Photomatix.
